Australian Sime Darby Scholars (ASDS) is the official club of Sime Darby scholars in Australia. It was established on the 22nd of September 2006 with the following aim:

To foster a strong sense of camaraderie and unity among Sime Darby scholars in Australia.

 

OBJECTIVES

  • To promote the interests and welfare of Sime Darby scholars in Australia

  • To assist incoming Sime Darby scholars in adapting to social life, varsity life and culture Down Under

  • To act as a bridge of communication between current scholars and new Sime Darby scholars Down Under

  • To strengthen the bond between Sime Darby scholars Down Under through the organizing of various fun activities

  • To enhance the holistic wellbeing of scholars through events participation

Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) is the foundation which sponsors all Sime Darby scholars, including those in Australia. YSD scholarship offers a comprehensive coverage of tuition fees, maintenance allowance, as well as books/equipment allowance. Full time employment is ensured for scholars upon completion their degree. Applications are open in March for Undergraduate studies and November for Pre-University studies. Check your local newspaper for advertisements. Sime Darby only receives applications online through its website.
